Bear Bars!

On my recent visit to the Kashi Headquarters in La Jolla, CA, I was given a sample of the NEW Bear Naked Gain-ola Bar. My favorite flavor is the Fruit + Nut. The taste is very similar to their granola, however the bar form makes it easy to pack and enjoy during a busy day.

Back to School Snack:

With classes back in session, quick and easy snacks are essential for fueling a long day. One of my favorite snacks is Bear Naked’s Fruit and Nut granola. I recommend adding it into plain yogurt or just nibble on throughout the day.

Beat the August Heat!
 
I have found it difficult to drink enough water as the weather increases in heat and humidity. I have tried several beverages to consume in addition to water to replace fluids, and found one I enjoy. Pure 100% orange juice in individual cartons makes for an easy post workout drink. Not only does it taste great, but also provides vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates.

Go Fish!

A favorite childhood summer snack now has a whole grain version. Goldfish, when combined with dried fruit and nuts, make a well-balanced snack--perfect for summers at the pool and families on-the-go!

Nature’s Path Waffles:

My favorite frozen waffle! An excellent healthy breakfast choice. Toast and top with peanut butter and a banana. Can be purchased at most health food stores (Whole Foods, Jimbo’s, Henry’s) and even some regular grocery stores.
